We spent the week tackling the 2065-Piece Electric Lighthouse Building Set to see if its scale and mechanical features live up to the hype. This ambitious project is designed to bridge the gap between classic block play and modern, interactive engineering for young builders.
Performance & Build Quality
The pieces themselves are impressively durable, snapping together with a satisfying precision that ensures the structural integrity of such a tall, complex build. The electric components are integrated seamlessly, allowing for a glowing display that adds a sophisticated touch once the final brick is placed.
Day-to-Day Experience
Assembly is a significant undertaking that requires patience, making it a perfect weekend project for children who enjoy following complex instructions. The final model is sturdy enough to serve as a permanent, glowing decorative piece for a child's bedroom desk or shelf.
This set is ideal for children aged 10 and up who have developed a passion for engineering or detailed model building.
