MOC-87366 Modern Villa Modular Architecture Building Set
I recently spent the weekend assembling the MOC-87366 Modern Villa with my children to see if the building experience lived up to the architectural promise. This kit stands out from standard block sets by offering a more refined, realistic aesthetic that feels like a genuine home model rather than a simple toy.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality is impressive, with bricks that lock together firmly and maintain structural integrity once the villa is complete. The components feel durable, ensuring that the final 27 x 26.5 x 32cm structure can withstand being moved or displayed without falling apart. It is clear that the modular architecture was designed with precision, as every piece fits flush with the rest of the model.
Day-to-Day Experience
Constructing the villa was a rewarding process that required genuine focus and patience from my children. While the complexity might be a slight learning curve for younger builders, the sense of accomplishment upon finishing each room makes the effort worth it. It serves as a fantastic collaborative project that kept everyone engaged throughout the weekend.
This set is perfect for budding architects or older children who enjoy complex, detailed building challenges.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the MOC-87366 earns a well-deserved 4.91/5 rating for its thoughtful design and high-quality parts. While $199.00 is an investment, the finished modern villa makes for a beautiful addition to any room that justifies the cost.
